YouTube Introduces AI-Powered Insights on Brand Performance

As shown in the example above, the Brand Pulse Report will offer detailed insights into your channel’s performance — highlighting how both paid and organic content contribute to your results.

But YouTube is taking it a step further.

According to the company:

“The Brand Pulse Report will use new data powered by Google AI to provide actionable insights that reveal your brand’s full presence on YouTube. Using advanced, multi-modal AI, it detects brand mentions in visuals (logos, products, etc.) and language (audio, titles, and captions). So, if a creator casually uses or mentions your product, we’ll identify and capture it.”

This means you’ll soon have a comprehensive view of your brand’s visibility across YouTube, including untagged mentions or appearances in other videos.

While the accuracy of these detections may vary, advancements in visual recognition make this a promising step forward for tracking your brand’s wider reach and content impact.

The report also provides metrics such as unique viewers, share of watch time, and historical content performance.

Additionally, it shows how paid campaigns influence organic views — an often-overlooked factor that can enhance your content strategy.

For now, the Brand Pulse Report is available only to select advertisers, with broader access expected in the coming months.
