The company confirmed that it has expanded the AI-powered photo editing feature to include all eligible Android phones, after previously being limited to Pixel devices only.
The new feature lets users edit photos using simple text or voice commands, making the editing process easier without requiring advanced technical knowledge.
To use this feature, users need to open the Google Photos app on their phones, select the photo they want to edit, and tap the “Help me edit” button. Then, they can enter commands such as “make the sky more dramatic” or “lighten the shadows on the face,” and the AI will automatically apply the changes.
The feature supports a wide range of edits, including adjusting brightness and contrast, removing unwanted elements, enhancing facial details, and adding creative effects such as changing the photo’s mood or adding a warm glow.
