Google launches Gboard for tablets

Google has released a new version of the Gboard keyboard for Android tablets, allowing comfortable use of the hand when interacting with large screens.

Gboard version 12.3 comes with a longer-than-usual design, which gives it a comfortable typing feel and turns out to be designed specifically for tablets, not just a modified version of the smartphone version, according to 9to5Google.

Google has taken care of the minute details of the new Gboard version, as it has preserved the layout of the keys and their arrangement, while the touch area allocated to each of them will become narrower, in the case of vertical use of tablets.

The site explained that the new version depends on placing a main bar at the top of the design that holds buttons for shortcuts that take a large circular design, in addition to 3 rows of writing buttons, while the last row holds buttons on the right to navigate within the writing texts, in addition to the button to separate the panel and transform it into a free design that is easy to move. , while on the left you will find two buttons, one for accessing the list of emojis and the other for accessing special signs and numbers.

The update is a step recently taken by Google to provide a distinctive experience for tablet users, as the American company provided more than 20 versions of its services and applications to fit large screens, such as Gmail, Google Chrome and Google Maps services. and "Google Meet", "Messages", "Google Photes", "GooglePlay", "Google Translate" and "Youtube".
