There are a number of very useful apps pre-installed on iPhone and Android devices that many users may not know about.
The following are the most important of these applications, according to what was reported by the British Daily Mail:
Magnifying glass application
To use the magnifying glass, open the App Store. In the search box at the top, type magnifier and hit open when it appears.
The magnifier is easy to use. Just tap, hold and drag it to adjust the zoom. There is also a flashlight icon near the bottom of the Magnifier app. Having an extra splash of light helps you see better in certain situations.
Quick scan of QR codes
Don't download a third party QR code scanner app, unless your phone is very old then scanning a QR code will already be there.
Open the Camera app to scan a QR code. Your iPhone also has a Code Scanner app.
Control your printer from your phone or tablet
You can print just about anything from your iPhone or iPad. You only need a printer that supports AirPrint.
First, make sure your printer and phone are connected to the same WiFi network.. To print, tap the Share icon on a document, note, photo, or anything else you want to print. Choose your printer, then print.
Get captions on anything you watch
One of the best accessibility features in Android is "Live Caption," which automatically labels any speech that's playing on your phone, including podcasts, video calls, voice messages, phone calls, and videos.
Live Caption works on Pixel 2 and later and other Android phones.
To turn it on and off: Press the volume up or down button, under Volume controls, click Live Caption.
Note taking feature
Google Keep Notes is integrated into Android phones and is similar to Apple's Notes.
You'll find the app in your Android apps list... To add a new note, tap the plus icon in the bottom right corner. To add a list, click the icon that looks like a check mark in a box. To draw something on your phone screen, tap the marker icon, and to record a voice note, tap the microphone icon. Keep will transcribe what you say and save the audio file.
