The World One supercomputer, designed to predict civilization patterns, determined the period of human extinction, the Daily Star reported.
A machine commissioned by the Club of Rome in the 1970s revealed that civilization would collapse in 2050.
The cause of the end of the world will be the activities of people, in particular environmental pollution and its negative consequences.
"Between approximately 2040 and 2050, civilized life as we know it will cease to exist on this planet. Even a complete transition to 'green' cars and strict birth control will not fix the situation," the forecast says.
The Daily Star also reports that World One's predictions for 2020, claimed that the state of the planet would be "extremely critical".
