Your guide to setting up Instagram Shopping!
Instagram product tagging is an Instagram business account feature that allows you to tag products in posts and link them to your website so users can make purchases with just a few clicks.

About two years ago, Instagram rolled out product tagging exclusively for users of the platform (Shopify) in beta to test the idea and clear out kinks in the technology. Today, anyone selling products on their website can apply for product tagging using Instagram, and users can browse products, save items they want to buy later, and buy items, all within the app.

If you are refused product tagging, it is important to read the Instagram policies and make sure you comply with what they do.

To be able to tag products in your posts, follow these steps:

- Open the Instagram application and log in to it, by entering the required data, which are: E-mail, phone number, or user name, in addition to the password. Once you're in you'll see a set of icons spread out across the top and bottom of the screen, tap the plus (+) icon at the bottom of the screen, and toggle to publish.

- Select a photo or video and add captions, effects and filters as you wish, then press the Next button.

- Click the Tag Products option, then click the products in the photo or video you want to tag.

- You can specify up to 5 products per post on a single photo and video, or 20 products per multi-image post.

- Find the products you want to tag, then select them as they appear in the search box.

- Click Done.

- Click on the Share button.

After its surprise launch of the official WhatsApp app for iPads, it seems Meta is finally preparing to meet one of the most persistent user demands by releasing a native Instagram app for iPads—more than a decade after largely ignoring this category of tablets.

According to a previous report by Kaya Yurieff and Kalley Huang on The Information, later confirmed by tech journalist Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, Meta employees have already begun internal testing of the app, with strong indications that it will be publicly released before the end of 2024—unless major issues arise.
