Creating high-quality journalism requires investment—reporters, editors, research, and technology all cost money. With declining online ad rates and widespread ad-blocker use, advertising revenue alone is no longer enough.
Paywalls provide a stable, predictable income stream, allowing publishers to focus on meaningful reporting: investigative journalism, verified facts, and original commentary—rather than chasing viral clicks or sensational headlines.

These headphones translate 37 languages in real time
A lot of times, we get into awkward situations, while talking to others, whether while traveling or while talking, especially about business or even for personal purposes, because of the difficulty in understanding the language spoken by the other person.

According to the American “englishgate” website, despite the emergence of many smart speakers capable of translation, which were introduced by companies such as Google, for example, the “Click Plus” headset developed by a British young man of Ghanaian origin is considered the most advanced.

Danny Manu, as he tells Sky News Arabia, is an engineer born in the United Kingdom to Ghanaian parents, studied at Oxford Brookes University, has a background in music, and was recently honored by Google for his contribution to science, arts and culture.

Manu succeeded in coming up with a new technology that translates languages instantly through wireless earbuds, and does not need the Internet for translation, but rather it is a self-translation, unlike most of the inventions in this field previously.

About how it works, he says, "I developed the wireless Bluetooth headphones in such a way that they must be paired with a smartphone, and the operating system does the rest."

"This innovation makes text-to-speech and speech-to-text conversion possible, as the Bluetooth headset automatically picks up the language being spoken and provides a spoken translation in one or two sentences."

Manu notes that his invention was a huge hit in markets across Europe, the United States and Asia.

Manu explained that the headset supports nearly 37 European and Asian languages, and by next year, more languages will be added.
