For over a decade, author Dan Buettner dedicated his efforts to uncovering global longevity hotspots. Collaborating with the National Geographic Society, Buettner embarked on a quest to pinpoint regions characterized not only by a significant population of centenarians but also by communities of individuals who had aged gracefully without succumbing to health issues such as heart disease, obesity, cancer, or diabetes. The results of his extensive research, as well as practical lifestyle recommendations inspired by these remarkable cultures, are detailed in his book, "The Blue Zones Secrets for Prolonging Life: Insights from the World's Healthiest Regions."

Google Photos will soon use generative AI to make your memories more fun

It is planned that Google will add a new way to display user memories in Google Photos, through a tab dedicated to groups of images that are generated automatically, and these groups will be supported by artificial intelligence to generate captions for them.

The app will now have a Memories button at the bottom, where you can see the automatically created collections of your photos and videos. These groups will have more fun and descriptive names thanks to a new AI feature. It appears that the "Memories" button will replace the "Share" button located at the bottom now.

The new AI feature, called "help me title," uses generative AI to generate names based on the contents of an image. You can also give the AI a "hint" to direct it to the address you want. For example, if you have a collection of photos from a trip to Paris, you could give a hint like "Romance" or "Adventure", and get titles like "Romantic Trip in Paris" or "Adventure in the City of Light".

The new Memories tab launches today, Wednesday, in the US, and will be available worldwide in the coming months. Google says it will also add options to export the video to Memories later, so that you can easily share it on other platforms, according to the Indian Express.
