NASA plans to launch the first electric flight in 2023

Bill Nelson, head of the US space agency "NASA", announced that the X-57 electric plane is scheduled to make its first test flight at the end of 2023.

According to Bill Nelson, these planes will be environmentally friendly and quieter than the conventional planes currently in use.

It is noteworthy that NASA had announced in 2016 the launch of the project to produce an electric plane, and it was scheduled to make the first test flight in 2017, but it was repeatedly postponed.
