Chinese company Xiaomi, the Beijing-based technology giant, has launched its prototype humanoid robot. While the capabilities of the lifelike robot are a far cry from those in the movie "Ex Machina," they do represent the company's ambition to incorporate artificial intelligence into its product designs.

And its launch of the model comes weeks before the launch of the American company Tesla of its model regarding the humanoid robot.
