John Warnock, who co-founded software giant Adobe, dies at 82
"It is a sad day for the Adobe family and the entire industry, as it has been an inspiration for decades," Adobe Chief Executive Officer Shantanu Narain said in an email to company employees.

Warnock co-founded Adobe with Charles Geschke in 1982. He stepped down as CEO in 2000 and remained chairman of the company's board of directors, a position he shared with Geschke, until 2017.
