Man could be living on the Moon by end of decade

Howard Ho, head of the US agency's Orion lunar rover program, announced that humans may be active on the moon for periods before 2030, with the potential for habitation and roaming to support their mission.

He confirmed that by that date, there will indeed be people living on the surface of the moon for a while, but it depends on how long they will be on the surface.

It is noteworthy that NASA sent astronaut Gene Cernan aboard the lunar module during the Apollo mission in 1972, and it was the last manned landing on the moon.

While the Artemis project also plans to build a space station called the Lunar Gateway, in which astronauts will live and work while orbiting the Earth, Howard stressed that it would be a big step in a two-year journey, stressing that extraterrestrial learning is very important.
