American billionaire Elon Musk announced that his company, SpaceX, has successfully launched 52 "Starlink" satellites into Earth orbit, coinciding with the launch of the Turkish satellite "Turksat 5B". And Musk posted on Twitter a video of the successful launch, which took place on Saturday evening.

The video showed the launch of a two-stage "Falcon 9" missile from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California, loaded with Starlink satellites.

The first stage of the "Falcon" returned and landed on a SpaceX drone in the ocean, while the second stage continued in Earth orbit, and the satellite deployment was confirmed.

On Saturday evening, the Turksat 5B satellite, considered the most powerful Turkish communications satellite in terms of its capabilities, was launched into space aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Air Force Base in Florida, USA.

In a video message he recorded on the occasion of the launch of "Turksat 5B", Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said: "On behalf of my people, I congratulate Mr. Musk and SpaceX for not yielding to the blackmail and pressures of the anti-Turkish lobbies," expressing his wishes for the continuation of successful cooperation with "Space". X" in space activities.

Erdogan noted that Turksat 5B, which will operate in an orbit 42 degrees east, will increase the speed and data transmission capacity by more than 15 times, and that thanks to this, it will be possible to provide users with broadband Internet services via satellite, in places where the access is To the Internet is limited, including land, sea and air vehicles.

Analysts believe that the launch of "Turksat 5B" will significantly expand the possibilities of using the Turkish Bayraktar TB2 and Anka-S attack drones, because it will make it a "global scale" weapon by controlling it via satellite.
